  • Anywhere that feels right for you. Local parks, the countryside, your family home, or an Edinburgh location like the Botanic Gardens or Portobello Beach. Or if there is a special place further afar that is closer to your hearts, I’m more than happy to travel. If you're not sure, I'm happy to suggest spots based on the kind of images you're after.

  • Yes, I love shooting at meaningful locations. Sessions within West Lothian and Edinburgh are covered at no extra cost. For locations further afield, a modest travel fee may apply to cover mileage and parking. Just let me know where you have in mind and I will give you an exact quote before you book - no surprises.

  • There's no strict dress code, but I always recommend wearing something that feels genuinely you. Coordinating colours (rather than matching exactly) tends to photograph beautifully - think complementary tones rather than identical outfits. Avoid very busy patterns or large logos, as they can distract from your faces. If you're stuck, I'm happy to chat through your wardrobe ideas before the shoot. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident.

  • Absolutely! For larger groups or outfit changes, the Extended Portrait session gives you the extra time to do it without feeling rushed. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the session flow.

  • For Mini and Portrait sessions, your full gallery is delivered within 2–3 weeks. Extended Portrait sessions include a 2-image sneak peek within 48 hours, with the full gallery following within 3 weeks.

  • Yes — your private online gallery includes a built-in print store where you can order professional prints and canvases, and photo books. For photobooks, you can contact me directly and we can go through all the various options such as photobook size, paper quality, finish etc.
