Hey! I’m Adrian - the heart behind Lumens & Grace Photography. I’m a devoted Christian, a husband to my incredible wife, and a proud dad of two amazing kids. I’m a lifelong nerd, and someone who finds real joy in the simple things – a strong coffee, a scenic drive, and time spent with the people I love most. With a background in IT Engineering, I bring a technical precision to my work, but my heart is entirely in the storytelling.

Photography wasn’t something I trained for formally—it grew from curiosity, then quickly into obsession, and finally into purpose. I’m completely self-taught, learning through experience and a deep desire to capture meaningful moments. Based in West Lothian, I find so much inspiration travelling throughout Edinburgh, the Lothians, and across Scotland to tell these stories. For me, photography isn’t just about beautiful images; it’s about freezing a moment in time that you can look back on and feel all over again.

My faith plays a central role in everything I do – including my photography. As a Christian, I believe that every person is fearfully and wonderfully made, uniquely created by God with a story that matters. That belief shapes the way I approach every shoot. I see photography as more than just art – it’s a calling to notice the beauty in people and creation, and to reflect God’s creativity and love.

The name Lumens & Grace was born from this very idea: Lumens, the light I seek out in every image, and Grace, the heart behind how I see my clients and their stories. I know that being on the other side of the lens can feel a bit vulnerable, so my focus is always on making you feel comfortable and valued. I’m not just there to "get the shot"; I want to help you see yourself through that same lens of grace, so you can relax, be yourself, and actually enjoy the process of telling your story.
